I have many gripes with The Hundread but the main 2 are always loads of talk about families as thought hey are banned from all other forms of cricket, when to look at T20 in the UK, you will see families everywhere so it isn't as if this new format has 'Saved Family Cricket' when it never needed saving. Also, bringing new supporters to cricket, great, but are these new supporters young and are they going to want to play the game. If the answer is yes, brilliant but they will not become Test cricketers because they will no doubt have no idea about why a team has to face 25-30 overs to get to 100 when they can do it in75 balls in The Hundread. Will they have the patience to want to watch a Test, if the answer is no, then they are unlikely to want to play first-class cricket and so therefore this whole competition will have served no purpose other than to bring in youngsters who want to play in The Hundread.

Yes, they carried the momentum into our innings as we really should have restricted them to 210-215 but losing early wickets was also our undoing and in the end, wickets in hand could have won it for us easily as most of their bowling isn't exactly div1 standard but we gave too many away again and no big, nasty fast bowler to clean up their tail.

Benjamin has gone backwards since he made his debut and is only in the team because of players who are in The Hundread, no doubt Robinson will find a place for him in the T20 quarter-final.

Well, in cricket, they do say momentum counts for a lot. And a game were were in charge of has become a real task. This will be harder than Friday's game.

This is very poor bowling, Douthwaite seems to like anything he can swing at and so we are bowling it just where he wants it, you get the feeling that straight and full might give him more problems. We might have blown it here because 80 from the last 10 overs should never have been on with just the tail in, poor bowling in my opinion as opposed to good batting.

Well, I did it again didn't I. Where do I go from here, "I need to win the lottery next week, it just has to happen".

Agree, didn't we have our own stream today. Need to get this partnership broken or we could be looking at 250+ which won't be easy, chasing often seems to be a problem on Welsh pitches.

At last, professional cricketers listening to me when I suggest something. I have been watching Warwickshire for decades and shouting all sorts of things and now after all these years they must realise that I am here to help.

I hope if Barnard has bowled a good tidy spell, he doesn't take himself off. New bowlers can often get carted as the pressure is off to a certain extent, if you are tidy, carry on and finish your spell.

Wow, 3 down, looked a bit 50/50 that last one but when the replay was slowed down, it looked a very good shout.

Remember though, that final v Surrey, they chose to bat as the pitch looked awful as both captains pointed out and Bell would have done the same but as it worked out, Bell lost the toss as he did all season and Surrey went from 99-2 (25) to 136 all out. As it's not played at Lord's, the early morning movement might not be so bad. Good so far, Barnard has the wickets but OHD is getting loads of late swing.

We will chase again and our 2 absentees from the Worcestershire game are back. Come on lads get us to a final, we haven't had one since Surrey at Lord's.

You don't see many one-day hundreds from a number 7 but to do it with so little experience is amazing. Looks like Leicestershire did something similar v Hampshire so major surprises from 2-3 hours ago.

A winning mentality is fine but when you have so many young players who are not used to even playing in important games like this, it is hard for a team and continuity is another thing, so many players who are not used to playing with the few senior players we have in the side. For many of our young players playing in this game, this is the biggest game they have ever played in and they must be pretty nervous just being out there and a winning mentality is what a side is used to if they are at 75-100% strength which we are definitely not.

Yes, at least the 2 that have gone, are not used to these situations anyway but then again, this is the sort of thing we will have to get used to if the ridiculous ECB allow a few morons to take over the game and decide we need a new competition whereby the laws of the game are changed and players do not care about it apart from earning a good bit of dosh and trying to put themselves in the IPL and BigBash window and earning even more. Certain side might have to consider looking for short term contracts for decent overseas players, to play in this competition if they are serious about it.

Davies, Ali, Mousely, Bethel, Gleeson, Briggs, Hain, Woakes (Would have been in Phoenix squad if not for Tests) are players we have not had a chance to pick and take away 2 more from the Lions side (Don't get me started on players who we have missed because of this stupid fixture) and you can see why a lot of us are not confident about a win tomorrow. No wonder Glamorgan have done so well, no one really wants to pick from their player pool. The ECB really do not like 50 overs games or county cricket for that matter.

Liam Dawson played for Hampshire today after his team were eliminated from The Hundread, so no reason why we cannot have any of our players back and after the last 2 games, I would say we need them.

Stupid way, both Benjamin and then Smith got out, the latter, even worse as it was a carbon copy from 3 balls earlier. Surprise, surprise, it's our batsmen getting out to part-timers yet again, why do we do it so often, the word must go around the counties, "Bring your trundlers and part-time spinners on, Warwickshire will find a way of gifting you wickets". We might even find a way of finishing 3rd and an away fixture in a quarter-final.

The batting is very much weakened, a very difficult decision if we win the toss.

Yes, forgot about 'The Hundread', I often do hope to forget about it. If there are enough outgrounds with decent pitches, it might make sense but I do remember a CC game v Hampshire where the pitch was so poor, it finished in just over 2 days, but I get your point.
