No doubt it is on Thursday to fit in with Sky TV. Sky then in their meanness won't allow free streaming on You Tube!!
At last another good innings from Stirling.
Good point Streetly
I hadn't realised that was the biggest run victory in domestic T20 - thanks GS. 2 big games coming up Yorks and Lancs = my view from a big distance is keep to a winning side and leave Stirling out.
That has to be one of the most convincing wins ever over our neighbours.
After 6 overs we were 79/3 Worcs 31/3. Looking good Their record of 19 in wides and no ball is quite shocking. Surely we can do better as Brathwaite will only bowl 4 overs max!!
Disappointing no live stream due to being on Sky Sports !! As I don't have Sky Sports I am restricted to following on Crickinfo !!
EB take away Stirling's first game and how many runs has he scored? The club paying a lot to add Stirling and have gained nothing so far. Assuming he plays tonight, though, I do hope I am proved wrong
Great game to watch last night. However we have to find a way of not losing wickets in the power play. 3 down inside first 6 overs really puts the pressure on.
Harsh decision against Brathwaite IMO. 5 run penalty for ball catching batsman's foot on its way to the stumps.
Thank goodness Hain is in such form.
Questions have to be asked about Stirling. My view of overseas players is they either have to put bums on seats or improve the quality of the team. Stirling is doing neither. He should either be dropped or put lower down the order.
What a partnership between the 2 H's !! Yates deserves to remain as opener and I suppose Stirling will join him. Watching the game on YouTube that outfield certainly looked very fast.
Hopefully Stirling will not be missed!! Given his record since the first game what will happen on Sunday if, today, our openers get off to a flying start?
Stirling really is turning out to be a one match wonder. If he is to continue being selected surely it would be best if he dropped down the order so hopefully we can get some runs on the board before the first wicket falls
Davies is turning out to be an effective opener is this format!! Perhaps Stirling could drop to number 3
Paul I am watching it on You Tube from the start
I too am a lover of baseball having been at the St Louis Cardinals and also at the Mets. I too noticed the great family atmosphere and how spectators around us enjoyed explaining the finer points of the game to us Brits
I hope today's 8 over game having an exciting finish does not give the ECB the idea of introducing a Half-Hundred format!!
One answer could be that once a player has been substituted whether as batsman, bowler or fielder then he takes no part in the rest of the game.
I reckon a team should look to double the score reached at the end of the 12th over providing the wickets are in hand. Leics managed to do just that despite being 5x wickets down!! They simply should not have been able to get to that score.
