Well, this is all a little embarrassing!

Like Llanbranch, I share the worries and hope that I am wrong.
I'm not sure about the "large car park" that the Club supposedly has. Can someone send me a sketch map to show where it is.
At 94 minutes, he is 7th on the list for all first-class cricket.
Top of the list at 120 minutes is SB Joshi for Baroda v Bengal at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in 2005/06.
According to a table published by the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians, Oliver Hannon-Dalby's innings against Surrey has broken the record for the longest time without scoring (minutes, not balls received) at the start of an innings in County cricket. He beats the 79 minutes of Jack Simmons for Lancashire against Yorkshire in 1969,
I think the answer is no. He may be fit on or just before the start of the T20 Blast.
Regarding the 10th wicket record stand against Surrey, just to confirm it was Bob Wyatt and Danny Mayer who added 126 together in 1927 at the Oval; but the circumstances were a bit different. Warwickshire were 355-9 when they came together; and number 11 Mayer was the dominant scorer, making 74 of the 126.
It must have been a pretty good pitch because, although Surrey were bowled out for 153 in their first innings, they knocked up a huge 427-3 in their second innings. Match drawn.
What really amazed me is that there were 408 overs bowled in the match, which was, of course a three day game. So there were more overs in three days than we now get in four. And it wasn't because there was more spin bowling. Of the 154 overs bowled in the match by Warwickshire, only 37 were spin.
As they say in the Hollies Stand, autres temps, autres mœurs
That's useful information - thanks.
I am trying very hard to be as excited about this as the Club appears to be:

I think it's Danny Mayer and Bob Wyatt who still hold the record against Surrey.
I guess that resilience is one of the top qualities needed by a successful team; and in that respect, the Bears come out of this match well, recovering from 16-3 and then 41-4 to 531.
The Derbyshire website says that they "quickly lost the services of on-loan seamer Ryan Sidebottom, pulling up with a suspected hamstring problem just 1.1 overs into his Derbyshire debut."
Unless it's very minor, they won't see much more of him for the rest of his month's loan.
Yes, Norwell has a back twinge but hopes to be fit for next week.
Davies was banned because of a series of tweets about ten years ago when he was a teenager. They were described as "racist, sexist, disablist, homophobic and other offensive remarks", so there's not too many categories of offensiveness that he missed.
Here's my preview of the match, written before the squads were announced:

And here is the squad:

Apparently, according to the new edition of the Cricketers' Who's Who, Olly Stone states that his grandfather invented the Twix chocolate bar.
Not a lot of people know that.
Off to Derby on loan for a month and in the squad for tomorrow at Lord's:
https://derbyshirecricket.blogspot.com/2022/04/sidebottom-in-on-one-month-loan.html
It's got to be a good move for him because he is way down the pecking order at Edgbaston.
Liam Norwell has a (hopefully) minor back problem so not available.
Alex Davies is suspended.
Nathan McAndrew is not available until the second game.
Here's the season preview from my Deep Extra Cover colleague Seth Nobes:

I don't agree with everything he has written but it's worth a read.
Yes, I agree!
Having had a quick look today at Taunton, I agree that he looks to have potential. Very lithe and loose-limbed, he seems to have a good action and to generate a fair bit of pace.
Olly Stone maybe available for the Bears:
