Like politicians, sports coaches have a "use by" date, when their methods and message loses it effectiveness and value. Sadly, we have reached that stage with Mark Robinson, and it would be best for the club, and Mark, if the change was made. Being head coach of a first class team is hard and tiring work, and eventually everyone runs of of energy and fresh ideas.

A new voice, delivering a fresh message and new ideas is needed.

Who do we think the Australian fast bowler was?

Yea fairs fair how did that happen?

Credit where it’s due!

Hope it includes the white stripe as per proper Warwickshire sweaters rather than those awful things some members are wearing!

It does!

Apologies - I meant finals day!

Suggestions they will miss the T20 QF to be involved with an England squad.

Will Robinson and Cain comment on this I wonder! Ridiculous.

Are we guaranteed a home tie? I think we are.
Yes, only Lancashire can overhaul our points total and the worst we can do is finish 2nd which means we get a home tie. Not that it makes much difference in T20. Always believe what Neil Cater said, if you finish top, you should get a place automatically in finals day, much the same as in the 50 over competition.

But Northants can equal our points 🍹

Have you seen recent photos of him?

Barnt Green have signed Lloyd Pope for the season- he plays for Melbourne Renegades.

He once took 7-30ish in an Under 19 World Cup game against England- victims included Tom Banton, Will Jacks and Harry Brook (1st ball)

I was there! Queenstown NZ. Liam Banks played for England. Trotty was the coach. There were about 20 people there, one of whom was Steve Waugh - his son was in the Aussie squad.

Don’t think so. Fergus O’Neill looks a very good shout.

Fergus O'Neill?

Just looked him up. Could have been him.

What did they look like?

Stocky. Shirt fair hair. Collar up, wearing a cap.

I saw someone with a massive Melbourne Renegades ‘coffin’ type bag on New Street station this morning. Any ideas who?

How is he able to play for Kent today? It’s day 2 and the team was submitted yesterday? I wonder how Middlesex feel about this?

Are Woakes and Hain playing for us?

Ridiculous situation

Going a bit off subject but.... Has anyone any experience of the final being held at Trent Bridge in terms of does it get sold out like the T20 Finals Day? One of my sons follows Leics and is would prefer to see what the weather is like before committing to going.

I went to the 2021 final. About 10k there

It must be a real joy to be there sitting amongst the die hard Worcs supporters.

The strange thing was that nobody seemed bothered. Meant to be sold out, but there were scores of empty seats all over the place.

Great day at Neath yesterday. I think I saw the future! Ben Kellaway of Glamorgan. He took Worcestershire apart last week and was stunning today with bat and ball. Very impressive for a young lad.

No Norwell?

Mousley just gone off injured - finger. Have to hope he can play Thursday!

I have it on good authority that both Mousley and Davies will be fit for Thursday.

Not in squad for Notts. Anyone seen any comment from Robinson about the situation?
