Pakistan fast bowler signing for next season according the the Telegraph cricket correspondent.
21 tests, 77 wickets. Did well for Lancs last season with 25 wickets at 20 runs a piece.
He is the quality we desperately need.
Bizarre signing and what's even more bizarre is awarding a 36 year old a two year contract. Having said that, I hope he does well and takes loads of wickets for the Bears
Is a 36 year old who couldn't get in the Durham team really the best bowler we can recruit? We need two bowlers: one left arm seamer and a genuine quick. Rushworth is neither.
No great loss. Hopefully the batting coach will also get "a better offer".
Good luck to him at Derby but we must move on.
What a relief to save ourselves by the skin of our teeth. We'll bowled Norwell and OHD. The less said about Brookes the better.
Now for the inquest. We have got good players but something went badly wrong with our season. We need some quality recruitment in the batting and bowling departments and Robinson needs to be given the chance to put things right. You don't become a bad coach overnight.
As for people going on about Lamb being some kind of panacea to our batting failures, get real. He is and always has been an average player at best and I'd rather we invested in players like Yates, Mousley and Bethall who have talent in abundance.
A busy winter ahead for the club.

4th over and 1st wicket down.
Effectively we are playing the game with 10 men.
However, Rob Yates should be congratulated on getting his average up to 12.21 !!!!!
Include Davies and we are playing with 9 men.
Hard to see us taking 20 wickets with that attack.
We have to move on from the likes of Matt Lamb. He has done OK, nothing more. He isn't the future of the club... Bethall, Mousley and Yates are.

If Burgess has been dropped that’s absurd. 1 bad game all season. Part of which was an awful decision.
What it also shows is perhaps some of the things we might have attributed to Farbrace like the insistence on playing Davies and dropping Lamb are Robinson decisions.
The preview says Burgess is "unavailable".

Anyone else notice Ashley Giles’ car in the main car Park at Edgbaston? It’s been there Monday, Tuesday and today. Mmmm.
It would be fantastic to have Gilo back where he belongs. https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/countycricket/ashley_giles_talks_county_cricket_warwickshire_worcestershire.html
Disappointing end to a competition which started so well at Cheltenham. I love this format and it would have been nice to progress but ultimately the loss of Burgess and Pandya killed us. We would have been hammered by Lanky in the quarter finals.
Overall assessment on some individuals:
Yates played very well and showed his class
Rhodes had some great knocks and did ok with the ball
Lamb repeatedly failed to do his job in the middle order. Hasn't done enough to be retained.
E Brookes didn't perform as well as last year with bat or ball but has promise
Smith looks a talent but a lot to ask of a 17 year old at this stage of his development
G Maddy hopefully learned what is requires at this level
Garrett is not and never will be good enough for the first team
Norwell did OK once they realised he doesn't have the variations to bowl at the death
OHD man of the tournament and held the bowling together.
Bethell is a classic case. He sits out watching the tournament, then comes in cold and gets a golden duck. During that time he could have played 7 List A games for the Bears and found some form.
Is it possible that we could have some players back from the Hundred if we make Friday's quarter finals? Hain, Mousley, Miles and Lintott would make a huge difference to our chances.
