Woakes and Ali confirmed as in the England team!
Potentially England will keep Lawrence as a concussion sub.

Sky TV are showing the Bears game on Thursday. Does anyone know if that will prevent You Tube showing it?
I don't know for sure but the Somerset v Kent game on Sunday was on Youtube, on the Sky Sports Cricket Youtube channel, for free.

Ah I didn't realise that was a rule but makes sense.
Also worth noting that Lawrence, who got 58 off 33 in their final group game win, is in the England squad for Thursday. Don't think him or Woakes will be in England line up so presumably him and Woakes play on Thursday, or neither?
Hmmm, you just know Lawrence will be released but not our man!
I can't see Pope being fit for England- is there any other batting cover in the squad other than Lawrence?
Yeah Lawrence is the only batting cover. Pope has now been ruled out so presumably Lawrence plays comes in for him.

Young because everyone else is either injured or due to be involved with the first team!
Five lads in that team (Shaikh, A Khan, Maddy, Simmons, Johal) who I would expect could have some first team involvement come the RL50, which is less than a month away now so playing for places in that in some ways
Surely Davies would have to continue as captain anyway - at the point Moeen took over captaincy we'd only played 2/3 games, whereas now Davies has overseen a whole season - although Davies did also seem to injure his finger/hand slightly right at the end!
If Mousley is injured I would be on the blower to Yorkshire given that they didn't qualify. In fact even if he isn't injured I'd still be on the blower to them.
Said the same about Mousley on the quarter final thread.
Please tell me Davies hasn't also done the same thing there.
Mousley just gone off injured - finger. Have to hope he can play Thursday!
Quarter final confirmed as Thursday at 6.30pm

What a great win from that position.
Absolute gem of a knock from Yates - I really doubted him in T20 but he's made a big difference since coming into the side.
I just worry that Hassan is going to be a major loss.
BBC says we're behind the DLS but hasn't said what it is - anyone know?
The more I see of Barnard the less I'm convinced
12 extras out of Notts first 17 runs!!
Update - 13 out of 18
Four down now, and not looking good.
I didn't manage to watch much yesterday but the pitch doesn't look that easy to bat on from what i've seen today!
Hundreds from Rhodes, Barnard and Burgess incoming?
Re Davies - I have been a critic, and still have reservations about his batting.
But cannot question his T20 captaincy so far, he seems very well suited to the role. Rubs a few up the wrong way but gets results.
And his bowling changes (Brookes aside) are logical and effective

Great win. Mousley is stellar player, a potential superstar.
My concern is how we replace Hassan and potentially Woakes in the knockouts. They both showed such quality tonight. Compared to the Pears pace bowlers who went around the park.
We will have to bring a bowler of international class in otherwise we are relying on Brookes. OHD should have a go for one of the spots.
Absolutely agree - we were one player off our best XI tonight (Hain) but not sure what we do when we don't have Hassan/Woakes.
I fear our QF XI won't be as strong as what we have now, don't know how we fix that.
But Mousley is genuine quality, best homegrown player since Woakes.
What do we do/where does Brookes go from here?
We've fallen away massively at the end there, hopefully still have enough but that's a gettable total.
Yates really struggled at the end there. There were THREE balls that would've been wides had he left them.
Edit - just seen your post Exiled, I counted three wides.
Yet another reverse sweep/scoop leading to Maxwell wicket
Say more negative things about him please Exiled
