The club have just posted a video of the "New Spin King" Matt Lamb.
He was a decent medium pace bowler, so would have found the conversion to leg spin a lot easier than a very occasional bowler.
The more chances Matt has to be in the side, and invoved in the game the better.

It's the index page for live county scores.
I'd sugest they are trying to keep Stone & Norwell fit for the first championship game.

I stuck by the rules that the club used for the side they had chosen, ie only including players you had seen.
Which excludes anyone before the Kanhai/Kalli era.
I was aware that Rohan started as a keeper, but he wasn't to the standard of Derryck or Kumar.
Having seen the sides selected by various current and past players over the winter, I thought about the best xi made up of the overseas players we've had at Warwickshire over the years.
I came up with this side.
A decent pair of wicket keepers and a very strong bowling attack.
1 Kumar S
2 Derryck Murray
3 Lara
4 Kanhai
5 Kalli
6 Moody/McMillan
7 Polly
8 Streak
9 AD
10 Jeets
11 Gibbs
I'd be interested to hear the views of others.

Unlikely to be today, currently precipitating precipitously.
With thanks to "Parkfield Bear" the SEC fixtures for this season.

23/8 Worcs at New Road
When Lamb and Hain were batting together it was a good Barnt Green combination, just need to get Ed Pollock in the team too.
I was thinking it could be Matt Lamb. He has a decent action when bowling seam, so could be able to convert to bowling leg spin.
