We have a serious bowling attack this year. Gleeson is quicker than I remember. Lots of skill and variation for the captain to call on. I still worry about the strength of our batting but I think Bethell will have a big breakthrough year.

The bowling was definitely more of a weakness last season, given the number of times we scored over 200, and we’ve strengthened that considerably during the winter. If the team stays injury free we really should be making finals day as a minimum

Briggs with a wicket maiden. I thought there might have been a change to the plan and let him bowl the next over as a result yet the quicks came back straight away. Couldn't believe how many times the openers played and missed but avoided getting an edge!! The word clinical was used a few posts back with regards our bowling - I thought we were clinical from first to lst ball - excellent.
