U Bears!
Big wicket that one, Davies usually causes us problems, as he did in the first innings.
6 DOWN!

Love reverse psychology 😀
Come on now boys, we are all with you.
YOU BEARS

If only we'd played Bressy over Holder in the last match for the control he gives...

Here comes the collapse...Benjamin really needs to work on his patience.
We don't tend to do things by halves.
Major collapse to 33/4.
Lamb...I remain unconvinced. 25 now and averaging 28 in the Championship, not good enough

Three iffy decisions didn't cost us that game. Our 1st innings batting and letting Hants go from 173 for 7 to 322 all out cost us the game.
That's where I am at with it. Not good enough from us.
All over, that was fairly abysmal.
Shambles
6 down with 80 still to get.
If only we had a Keith Barker to come in lower down the order...

Can't afford to lose another wicket before lunch.
Sadly the skipper couldn't hold out.
100 runs with 5 wickets to go, don't fancy us.
4 down now. I cannot say that I am at all confident here...
Could have done with him going on to get his century.
100/1 with Sibley falling.

296 to win, then. I'm not confident...
Slow progress (not surprisingly given the fact we have a day and a half - to last !), but we're 43 without loss, after 27 overs.
With Sibley batting the progress is only ever going to be slow :D
FINALLY
Barker is gone. 275 the lead so far, need to keep it at that and get the final wicket promptly
No wickets in the first hour. Doesn't auger well for the target we will be facing but I guess it does show that our batsmen should be able to make a damn good fist of any chase
Barker haunting us with bat and ball in this match.
Norwell on to replace him bags their 5th wicket straight away
