The Hundred is bottom of my list of watching priorities; but I have to confess that I might be tempted to view the Birmingham Phoenix women's matches for the chance to see Ellyse Perry, who I think is a fabulous cricketer:

Great to see new people joining.
Please do spread the word around about the forum so we can get back to having the lively discussions we used to have on the old board.

Well, it's three day rather than four and without spectators - but it's red ball cricket - and this month!!!!

Good news that four players have signed new contracts:

Let's hope that Liam Norwell can stay fit.

I'm quite surprised that he has been picked up for the IPL because he seems to be much more at home in the longer formats - Cricinfo describes him as a "defensive batsman who takes pleasure in grinding down attacks". But if he can't do both, no doubt the money and staying in his home country are going to be more appealing than coming to Warwickshire.

Just to say that, though I have given myself a different user name, I am Terry. And Exiled Bear is being very kind when he says that I helped him - it's been more a case of cheering from the sidelines while he did all the work.
Anyway, let's hope that plenty more people will sign up including a few familar names from the old Bearsfans site.

I think that would be an excellent signing.

Yes, great news! He may be a Yorkie by birth but he's now a Bear through and through.

I enjoyed the Members' Forum yesterday evening with Paul Farbrace and Mark Robinson. I get the impression that they will work well together as a team.
