Can members take alcohol to the matches at Rugby? Went yesterday, (going Wednesday), and there was a bag search and advice about glass bottles, but can we take beer and / or wine so long as we avoid glass - anyone done so? Thanks
The Club are really taking the mickey, £35 for the Red Car Park (£20 last year). Yes, it's a choice, yes, I could get there by train. We live in Kenilworth, so it's not so straightforward or convenient (queues for the train shuttle bus ridiculous in the past).
Surely there should be some sort of discount for members? I despair !!
Trent Bridge £12 for non members and only a 5 minute walk.
Extract of an E-mail from the club:
We can't wait to welcome you to Edgbaston on Saturday for Finals Day.
As an attendee, we're giving you a chance to get tickets for Finals Day in 2024 before anyone else and at the very best prices.
Anyone else think that members should get first access to these before 'attendees' or are we members just 'anyone else' these days?
I have just received my 2022 Season Car Park Pass.
Last year I paid £75 to park on site for LV County Championship , RL50 AND T20 matches.
This year it's £100 to park on site for ONLY LV County Championship and RL50 matches.
NB Members used to be able to park on site free in years gone by ..... just saying.
This, to me is yet another example of members being asked to continually pay more for less. This seems to be an ongoing issue where member benefits are being eroded, and have been for a few years now.
Anyone else feel the same?
