Assuming the guys from the other comp are available and the club intend to use them (assuming Woakes is ruled out by ECB and Moeen in T20 squad) are we looking at a line up of

Yates
Barnard
Rhodes
Hain
Mousley
Burgess
E Brookes
Lintott
H Brookes
Briggs
OHD

?

Really hope Worcestershire can win this. I feel like Hampshire have our number in white ball cricket.

Trott played.

Last year there was a rule that an overseas player had to have played in the group stages to play in the knock out rounds. They got rid of that this year.

Even though it could be a big advantage for us to have the likes of Hain, Mousley and Woakes back.
I do feel like it’s wrong. Players who were part of the hundred should had to have played in the group stages or played a minimum number of group stage games to come back.
Seems unjust and unfair otherwise.
Depending on the result in the Hundred eliminator, the likes of Hampshire could get Vince, Dawson, Howell, Whiteley, Wood, Crane, Weatherly and Wheal back for the quarter, semi and final. Thats a brand new team. Which is obviously ridiculous.

I didn't know that. Until this year players couldn't be released from the other comp to play the ODC so that makes no sense?

Take Chris Benjamin for example, is he really part of our best List A side? I'm not sure he is.

Did Woakes play in the other competition? I know after the Ashes he mentioned he was feeling his quad a bit?

Fairly sure he has played for Shropshire recently yes. He started off in Staffordshire CCC pathway before joining us at under 14 level. Very new to spin bowling (this season I think?), very much seen as a strong white ball player at the moment.

I wouldn't pick any of them personally. I'd only be picking players that played for us in the group stages ideally. Only way I'd go away from that is if we had injuries.

The likes of Woakes and Hain are probably some of my favourite ever Warwickshire players...

But

The lads who have played in the group phase are the ones who have done the heavy lifting and they've done it well. Can't think of anyone who has played in the one day cup for us this season who hasn't done well at some point.

Apart from Davies obviously...

I'd like to take the time to remind everyone again that some people wanted Ed Barnard dropped 3 weeks ago...

Fair play to Briggs, calm head when others were seriously losing theirs.

Blimey, Gloucestershire won quickly...

Frustrating, Yates was looking good and just felt he needed a score. Terrific delivery to get him though.

See my previous post further up, I felt at the time he'd been hard done by.

I thought Sussex batted really well at the death. Its an incredibly fast, high, scoring ground with a particularly fast outfield. H Brookes will come in for criticism, naturally, but OHD was going at atleast 12's at the death. He's entitled to an off day though. It happens.

I think overall we were pretty decent, the bowling figures don't necessarily tell the while story here. Ibrahim played a very intelligent innings and Foreman was bright. The opposition are allowed to play well. 275 is probably par. Should win, a couple of our batters probably need a score so it's a good opportunity.

Yeah can sense Robinson's frustration just from reading the quotes, think we might have seen quite a few rested had we won yesterday.

Barnard has been terrific, it was only 3 weeks ago people wanted him dropped and were calling him a nothing signing.

Bethell
Smith/Shaikh
Brookes E
Lintott
Brookes H

Any changes?

Think I 2021 Durham brought the Hundreds lads in for the final but Glamorgan stuck with the lads whod played throughout the One Day Cup. I could be wrong though, apologies if i am.

Kent and Lancashire both declined to use their Hundred players when they became available for last year's final. I think?

I think anyone who hasn't played in the groups shouldn't play the knockouts.

Feel sorry for Barnard, he's played an epic knock there.

Bedingham has played a superb knock, 'a Sam Hain'. Very difficult to defend the short boundary at the end then.
