Another win, delighted to see Brookes have a good game, he's struggled at times but some of the criticism he's had has been a bit over the top.

Fair play to Henry Brookes. He bowled superbly only conceding 15 runs off 3.5 overs and took 3 wickets. He looked rapid today. Great knock of 28 runs as well. Hopefully that should give him a major confidence boost.

Also he bowled at the right time. Cannot believe we only made 141 but then a gain, we did defend it well. Ben Raine at number 9 was a major surprise, he made a ton here for Leicestershire a few years ago so why have him so low but then again, Durham look a poor side in this format. Looks like Essex in the quarter-final then.

So it's Essex at home on Thursday evening. Is Hassan Ali available? Apparently he signed a 4 month contract until the end of July? Hopefully that is the case. He's been a great signing, pity it's not for the whole season.

Hassan was called up earlier than expected by Pakistan so assume he's done for this season.

That's right - off to Sri Lanka with Pakistan. That's why Drakes has been signed to replace him for the Blast.

Brookes seems to do OK bowling in the middle overs but I wouldn't trust him either in the powerplay or at the death. Fingers crossed we get Woakes back in Thursday and Brookes can carry the drinks.
