Just been and had a look at the fixture list on WCCC web site. The T20 team is titled Bears with no mention of the second city. Hopefully that will be permanent.
Also noticed women's game are merged in with the men's game. One thing they must be careful with is calling the women's T20 team Bears Women. Can't afford any predictive spelling errors there !!
I don't think that the move away from "Birmingham" has ever been stated - it just seems to have happened quietly over the last 12 months, not only on the website but also in press releases.

I seem to recall at the last members forum (Strauss high performance review) Stuart Cain mentioned that it was quietly and intentionally being dropped now that Birmingham Phoenix are on the scene.
