Yeah ive missed, Eakin, Taylor and Wilford.

Good battling from Lamb and Bresnan today, can't have been easy with the rain delays etc. Lamb latched onto anything short and wide, didn't miss out, and Bresnan played close to his body. Pitch looks OK, ball coming on, overheads are clearly causing havoc though. It was tough viewing at times for us Bears fans!

There have been over 1000 viewers on youtube both days, including people from the USA, Aus and New Zealand, as well as the annoying spammers from India.

One benefit of live streaming is that Warwickshire, and the sponsors get world wide coverage, & it's great that Sam Hain's family in Aus can see him play.

Totally agree, great for fans abroad to watch the game. I think its pretty good standard , much better than the previous two fixed cameras. Commentary is pretty much in sync which is very helpful!!

I also think that the stream is good, especially if you think what it was like even a couple of seasons ago. It's only recently that live streams have been available widely. I'd be surprised and a bit disappointed if the club started charging for it, even though I'm a member - county cricket needs as much coverage as possible, and the viewing figures so far have been pretty good so it would be a shame to lose that.

My only comment/suggestion is that it would be good if the number of balls faced by each batsman and the number of overs bowled by each bowler were displayed - I'm not sure if there is a way to suggest this to the club? This will be particularly important for the limited overs competitions.

Why not drop Tom Rawlins an email?

I'd hope he'd be open to constructive feedback, and the balls faced data is available.

Cracking ball by Reece to bowl Bresnan, but a terrible piece of camera/production work yet again though. Seems to miss the first ball of an over from quite often by staying with the side view too long. Hopefully this will improve over time

Had a feeling that an early wicket was going to come this morning. There’s only so many times you can stop and start an innings before a batsman gets one with his name on it.
If we could get a 50-75 run lead I think that would put us in a great position, but I’m concerned the weather over the next couple of days is going to rob us of a chance to push for the win.

Still plenty of time and the showers might be a bit hit and miss hopefully more miss. Get 30-40 ahead then really accelerate either side of lunch and hopefully pull out 100 ahead about 2pm

Unfortunately don't think that will happen.. really letting a good opportunity slip here. Hoping a 30-40 lead will be the difference

Lead of 32. Not massive but in the context of a low scoring game, it could be important.

Good idea, I'll do that.

A poor start to the day today and we've let a good position slip. We should've been looking for at least a 50 run lead. I'm hoping that the fact that Critchley got wickets means that Briggs can play an important role in the second innings.

I think this just confirms what we all had worked out that due to the conditions it’s not easy to bat out there. Early on everyone is vulnerable to a ball that seems to be doing more off the pitch than through the air.

My question is, what’s changed from the pitches against Notts and Durham that seemed like roads, to this one. Is it just the rain and the overheads or because it’s a different part of the square?

It's a lot colder and there's been significant amounts of rain so the atmosphere is damper, and the air is slightly denser, making swing easier.

And yet nothing mentioned on the BBC live text stream. I’ve always felt that we get poor coverage on it but today a lot of action has happened and barely even a passing comment.

With it sleeting now, I’m going to assume no more play today. Big first session tomorrow, got to get them out as low as possible, because there’s rain forecast towards the end of the day.
Could be very exciting.

This feels similar to matches last year, we get ourselves into a good position but are not able to capitalise. Something to work on for the rest of the season, we need to develop a ruthlessness.

Yep, same old, same old! I hope Robinson sorts them out - both in this afternoon's tactical plan and in the teams long term strategic and mental outlook.

I was surprised that Briggs wasn’t given a bowl, just to try something different.

I do like Critchley as a player though, if he played for a more fashionable county he would be more widely talked about as a spinning all rounder.
