12 man squad, as expected, the only change from York is Garrett is out.

Pollock, Yates, Rhodes, Burgess, Mousley, Lamb, Bethell, Brookes , Carver, Johal, Bulpitt and van Vollenhoven.

I guess the only change in the starting lineup, will be Bulpitt for Garrett - KvV 12th man?

I was intending to travel in to watch today, weather looks a bit pants though.

Nothing from the club about playing conditions from what I can see. BBC reporting a delay though.

The stream isn’t working and Pollock is already out.

Good ball or not, Pollock quite often is counter productive.

Now completely on the back foot with Yates now gone half fencing at a ball that he should have just been pushing back up the pitch.

Is it now the case that Johal and Bulpitt are our only two fit full-time seam bowlers?

Pollock will have the odd knock where he looks brilliant, but another 10 innings where he gets nothing. I am unimpressed with him.

Thought Burgess and Rhodes batted the situation perfectly.
They settled it down, built a foundation at a decent pace; and set it up well for Mousley and Lamb to be confident enough to throw their hands at it in the last 10 overs or so.

Strong today. 4 guys making half centuries, can't be bad. We've batted well this tournament. Mousley looks a class above in those situations. Lamb's 6 over extra cover off Kerrigan was sublime (an 'Ian Bell'), professional rebuild from Rhodes and Burgess when the ball was nipping about early on. Nice to see Bulpitt and Johal weigh in with some top order wickets.

Exeeded my expectations today yet again. Great team performance. Had the lad not copped it on the chin could've been a bit closer but I doubt it'd have affected the result. Promising young side. I kinda expected the Leicester and Derbyshire wins but wasn't sure about today. Two tough games next week but there's no reason why they can't win at least one of them. Hopefully a decent crowd next Thursday for the game against fancied Somerset. Weather should be more settled by then and the youngsters deserve a couple of thousand in there for that. Attendances have been low at Edgbaston haven't they? I'd say less than 1,000 for the Notts game which is the only one I've been to live and watching bits & pieces on the stream seemed even less at the other home games. I'm sure we aren't the only county with low attendances but not been universal. Somerset as ever seem to have good crowds, Yorkshire have had 3,000 or so at York and when I went to the Oval yesterday must have been 4,000 - 5,000. Was noticeable Surrey had, dj booth aside, taken down all the hundred paraphenalia. At Warwickshire of course it's only flags that get removed.

I thought our opening bowlers did a great job even with their lack of experience. Bullpit looked a handful with his left arm and Johal seemed to have a good action.

It was good sensible batting too from the four with half centuries. It actually felt like a good old fashioned game of cricket without any of the histrionics currently being seen with the 16.4 competition.

It’s not really a surprise that spectators have been low in number, it’s been a weird season to get into and the team has been struggling at various times. With this being seen as a development competition not everyone is interested in watching reserve team players.

However, looking around there was a good mix of people in attendance who enjoyed a comprehensive Bears victory.

Forecast weather was quite poor for a couple of the games but the forecast proved incorrect and they got full days play in. Getting locals to go to these games has obviously proved tricky. I noticed the PA chap at the end on Friday mentioned the next game at Edgbaston was today's 16.4 match. Does the PA bloke (or perhaps the DJ?) big up Warwickshire's next home fixture at the 16.4 matches? I wonder if the spectators who turn up to these shortened formats even know Bears are playing RLODC matches at the moment it seems to have gone so far under the radar at least with the County Championship matches there'd be 1,000-1,500 in the ground on most days but these RLODC matches have seen attendances of 900 ish, 750 and Friday couldn't have been any more than 600. Like I say they deserve a decent crowd Thursday whatever the result at the Oval tomorrow
