Once again, its the batsmen who let everyone else down - them (technically and mentally) and their selectors.

Frost and Robinson need to be held to account!

Do not blame Chris Benjamin for this defeat, Robinson, in all forms of the game has prefered mediocre players, he's made a very bad choice of captain and has made good players leave the club, and made very poor signings, especially of overseas players.

A new head coach is needed, as well as a thorough review of the playing staff and recruitment policy.

Humiliated on our own patch again.

I am going to sound like a football fan now but I am not putting another penny into this club until the coaching team is gone and we show the ambition of a team that wants to progress and compete.

They roll this garbage out, season after season in all formats and expect us to keep coughing up cash. The relationship between fan & club has changed dramatically since I started going to Edgbaston, so I will now start acting accordingly.

I’m not one to call for people to be sacked but there has to be changes after this season. Recruitment has been poor, tactics questionable and mentality ill equipped to cope with the pressure of knock out matches.

We should have played the extra batsman, Barnard could of been the difference tonight if he had been selected. Saying that, the shot selection from the likes of Davies, Mousley, Hain and Bethell was shocking. What happened to the positive cricket we played in the group stages? Extremely disappointing.

Robinson must go after this. There isn't a winning mentality.
All of our playing budget went on this competition and we failed again.
The recruitment has been abysmal. The leadership is poor.
We cannot continue to accept the excuses or platitudes which will no doubt follow this latest pitiful showing.

Not a lot to add to the above comments. Hugely disappointing again. On that wicket with the short boundary we should have won comfortably. Brainless batting once more has undone us.

Davies already moaning about the slow pitch. Surely Gary Barwell will have prepared a pitch to order with our home advantage. Also the usual talk about 'positives'. Rubbish. Season over.

I’ve generally been one of the few to defend Robinson over the last couple of years but unfortunately I think time has run out. As others have said, to concentrate so much on this competition and not even make it to finals day just isn’t good enough. On paper our side is good but once again we just choked. Don’t think the captaincy is the issue though as others have suggested, we haven’t lost many under Davies’ watch.

Have to say that I think we were a bit screwed by the scheduling this year, with such a long break since the last game and going into this one cold - it was the same for Gloucestershire but I feel like the underdog is always favoured in this scenario.

Davies just said in interview that they misread the pitch and should have batted first - how could they misread the pitch? We're the bloomin' home team! It beggars belief. Also the Gloucester captain said that they trained under lights on Wednesday to get the feel of things, did we think to do anything like that?

If Robinson and Davies have any credibility they shouldn’t need pushing. And how long before we get a bloody bowling coach? Sam Hain was the most reliable of county batsmen……not any more……..can’t pace his innings poor choice of shots, time after time.

Sibley left because we wouldn't select him in T20s. Scored a march winning knock for Surrey in their quarter final. Similarly Rhodes is leaving because of a similar situation and will probably go to Durham and win matches for them. Yet we can keep picking serial failure Benjamin and the like.
Go now Robinson and Frost.

If he has any respect for the club, which I strongly doubt, Davies will be resigning the captancy before he leaves the ground tonight. He has been a very poor choice as captain.

There does need to be a review of the whole playing staff and recruitment.

Other counties are developing good young players, in all aspects of the game, we are not. If you look at other counties they have good links with the private schools in the county, something we seem not to have. A situation that needs to change.
