No team news obviously yet but this is what I'd like to see:

Davies
Moeen
Hain
Mousley
Bethell
Barnard
Smith
Garton
Briggs
Lintott
Gleeson

I believe Zac Foulkes is still here so will almost definitely play.

Showed glimpses but the jury is out.

Of course Benjamin will play. And with Hassan out I guess Foulkes will fill that spot. From what I've seen, he looks like a bang average bowler brought over on the cheap (Now I hope he proves me wrong and breaks Neil Carter's record T20 bowling figures).

I’d like to go with Benjamin, Foulkes/Garton and Miles to miss out, but that only gives us two seam bowlers, so I suspect one of Garton or Foulkes will be included. Maybe Yates misses out?

Have seen or heard nothing to say that any of Benjamin, Foulkes, Miles deserve to play. If it's a slowish wicket as often is the case I'd play the 3 seamers inc Barnard with the 6 slower bowlers.

This really has to be the team. Hope that for once with home advantage, they have prepared a wicket to suit. I have a feeling that we have done our homework on the Gloucester team, have a plan. Feels like they are really up for this one, surely we cant choke again.

I would leave out Foulkes and have another batter. We have a rich slow bowling attack, really hope they have a track to suit.

Miles seems to be out of favour with so many but he has had some good games. It seems such a long time ago since the group stages finished that I cannot recall his final figures for the group stages overall. Spin seems to have been our strength so that will definitely be what we go with so how about 4 overs each of Ali, Briggs, Lintott, Bethell and Mousely.

Thanks 'Inside-edge', I did look back and see his figures, 9.3 isn't brilliant but if you consider the people who go crazy over the overrated Chris Jordan (4-0-57-0 in Surrey's Q-F) who's overall economy is 8.6 during his career, that is only 2.8 runs per over worse in a 4 over spell and I would prefer Miles to Garton just in case he goes to pieces like he did v Worcestershire. Our main problem in quarter-finals has been not making enough runs when batting and if we bat first, we have got to post a good score, yes, it sounds obvious, but we have blown it before and been 20-25 runs short.

Looks like it’s on us to represent the north group, all three qualified teams are from the south group…

Noticed that IF we win tonight we have avoided Surrey/Somerset and play Sussex in the second SF next Saturday - fingers crossed.

I think they will go with the extra batter at 7, and i think they will stick with Benjamin. He played in all 14 of the group stage matches, and seems to be favoured over others in this format. Predicted team:

Davies
Moeen
Mousley
Hain
Bethell
Barnard
Benjamin
Garton
Briggs
Lintott
Gleeson

Come on you Bears!

Yeah and he's averaged 9!!! Give his place to someone more deserving.

Does anybody know why Kai Smith not in the squad. I would have thought he'd play if fit?
