I think this bit of rain should pass over pretty soon and I think they’ll get back out…but not sure how much more time they can lose.

Makes no sense…10 overs would take at most 45-60 mins to play. Why can’t they play until 7/8/9pm?

EB - how long have you been following cricket? You know Rules is Rules in cricket!! How many times in a rain affected CC games have they gone off at official close of play with the sun blazing down for another 2 hours.

For a day/night game the hours of play are 2pm-9.30pm.

So I'm assuming 18:30 then for this. There has absolutely been time since the rain stopped for 10 overs

It was going to be a real 50:50 shootout if we played, and you never know sometimes with DLS you can get a stinker of a score for no apparent reason. So in the end, taking the point and remaining undefeated isn’t too bad.

Net run rate will be huge if both teams don’t lose again. But both teams still have to play Yorkshire, they have Leicestershire and we have Notts.

There's loads still to happen here. Looks very much like Warks, Glam and Notts though I have a feeling Yorkshire and Leics will have a say somewhere. Not that it did us much good last year, but I think we need to win our group. Worryingly Hampshire aren't top in theirs and therefore a likely opponent. They've got the hoodoo over us in knockouts.

One idea I can never understand not being implemented. Given the number of non-playing days why, wherever possible, not have a reserve day. This game could quite easily have had today being used as a reserve day.

Unlucky with the weather. If it was scheduled for today it would have been glorious. Neither team have a game today or Saturday so it can't be beyond the realms of practicality to have put it back a day.
Anyway, we take the point and move on.

I think we are now guaranteed to qualify but obviously be better to finish top and play a knock out round less.
