Rhodes catch for the 9th wicket was out of the top drawer! I suppose the floodlights won't get switched on!! How many Leics supporters were looking to come down after work, I wonder.

Well, that does appear to have gone quite swimmingly as they say.
Lose 2 early wickets in Barnard and Wylie.
Hopefully this low total, gives Shaikh an opportunity to get himself in and play his own game without worrying about the run rate.

A few more performances like this and Leicestershire might have to pay their supporters to watch them!
Seriously, I hope this doesn't become a trend.

It was only a matter of time. I’m surprised it took this long to be honest.
I wonder if the counties collectively would go down the route of having one subscription that covers all the counties with the revenue split according to how many select a particular club as their “favourite”. Of course one problem is that some counties put more into their live streams than others.
Outstanding performance. Incredible effort to roll a side on their own patch who only 2 days ago made 360 odd.
Good to see Hamza get a few.
Yup. This is the point of the competition for me. The young lads showing what they can do. It seemed stupid to moan about it after the Essex game, but none of the academy players scored any runs or took any wickets. So nice to see this change.

Some lovely shots too, looks very promising.
Yeah I think that was the most he has shown his talent, there is definite promise there.
Rhodes looks in decent nick in the first two games as well.
It was good to see Chris Wright back for Leicestershire. As was pointed out on a different thread some time ago, he got a very raw deal with his drugs ban. I hope that he has a successful time in the rest of the season.
And a brief shout out for Craig Miles who has been given some stick on here - 3-16 today wasn't too bad.
And I thought that would be one of our toughest games! Certainly didn't see that coming.
Captain Barnard bowled brilliantly with the new ball. I was a bit worried when Miles bowled a rank first over costing 10 but he pulled it back. Its his lack of consistency that is the problem.
Hamza played some nice shots and is a great prospect. Rhodes bowled and batted really well and he his a key player in this format.
Onto the next one.
