Different kind of test for us tomorrow, Leicestershire haven't lost many players to the other comp and have two decent overseas players in there line up so can put out some strong XI's. Chris Wright is back.

Just read the preview, really hope Yates and Burgess pass their fitness tests.

Was Kai Smith in the squad for Essex? I know he didn't play. Hope he does here alongside Benjamin. Seems a bizarre thing to say after the Essex chase but would prefer one more batsman. I think seven bowled against Essex and that doesn't include Theo Wylie.

Kai Smith was not in the squad v Essex, he played for the u18's as part of his recovery from a broken hand.

Heading over for this one, first time at Grace Road!

If Yates and Burgess are both injured then we are in big trouble.

They have a very strong batting lineup for this format so we need to be on it with the ball.

This is one of our toughest group games.
Yates and Booth out. Smith and T Ali in.
Big call to win the toss and elect to to field. Our bowling attack looks light but if it takes spin we will be in the game. Leicester have some quality batsmen though.

Yes Leicestershire team looks very decent. No Yates is a big blow, particularly good run getter in this format. Could put Wylie up to open? He's done it in age group cricket.

Interested to learn that Leicestershire will apparently be charging a fee to watch their live streamed home games from August 11th...

4 for Barnard so far, he’s certainly in a purple patch at the moment.

Rhodes has just stopped him getting all 10!!

What a start. I didn't envisage them being 42/5 with two former test batsmen back in the pavilion for a grand total of 3 runs.
Captain Barnard has set the tone.

Crikey, looks like we're only going to have to use 3 bowlers in this match!
