Edgbaston describe as a quick bowler with no mention of being an all rounder. Given our stock of quicks why do we need to sign another?
Sadly many of them are unfit to play.
With the signing of foulkes will the club release Ali and Jamal? who have both spent significantly more time injured than available since they arrived.
Literally never heard of him. Perhaps Gleeson is yet another long term injured bowler.
A genuine bowling all rounder would have been a good addition but our Kiwi "director of cricket" has decided to bring jn another of his countrymen. Let's see if it pays off.
The clubs pprevious recruiment policy doesn't seem to have worked, so if Gavin Larson want's to bring in player he knows, and they are able to perform thats a massive improvement on the previous policy.
Really hope that this does not mean that Gleeson is injured. He was looking very good and getting better. We really need a death bowler in the steam. We don't seem to have any luck with our T20 signings.

Gleeson is out for 4/5 weeks with a side strain.
