Oh dear this is going to be a thrashing.
All depends how Barnard Rhodes Burgess and Benjamin bat really. The rest are kids or bowlers.
It's farcical that Worcestershire can play Hose who has been in the 100 this week and yet we can't or maybe have chosen not to use Hain (or Garton, Gleeson).

Davies, Ali, Mousely, Bethel, Gleeson, Briggs, Hain, Woakes (Would have been in Phoenix squad if not for Tests) are players we have not had a chance to pick and take away 2 more from the Lions side (Don't get me started on players who we have missed because of this stupid fixture) and you can see why a lot of us are not confident about a win tomorrow. No wonder Glamorgan have done so well, no one really wants to pick from their player pool. The ECB really do not like 50 overs games or county cricket for that matter.
And Garton too.
Same squad as the last game so no 100 rejects.
I'd expect OHD to start.
Dare I ask if any of our 100 players, no longer in their competition, might be considered for Friday eg Hain?
I can kind of forgive Smith he's only played a handful of first team games.
Benjamin however, despite a couple of good knocks recently, showed again that he's just not cut out for us in my honest opinion - he's not good enough.

Well that was a stupid end to the innings. Why not just knock it around and get to 200 at least?
It's a 48 over game isn't so 200 was never realistic.
I think we are now guaranteed to qualify but obviously be better to finish top and play a knock out round less.
Tazeem Ali looks a great prospect!!
Exceptional bowling performance!
I know there are test matches and other franchise leagues going on currently, but I've been genuinely shocked at both the really mediocre line ups for a lot of the 100 teams and the lack of close games/general excitement. There's no hope is there, the Blast is miles better.

Anyone else offended by the disrespect shown by a player chewing gum during the National Anthem and being the only one not singing?
Who was that I'm intrigued?

Anyone else just searching for toss and team news? No, just me then...
Yes me until I saw it starts at 2!!
Barnard would be one of my first names on the team sheet in all forms of the game.
It's a strong looking squad considering the absentees. Decent performances in this competition might get someone into the T20 knock outs team.

my best eleven would be in batting order.
Yates
Davies
Ali
Hain
Bettell
Mouseley
Briggs
Garton
Ali
Lintott
Gleeson
My team too, hopefully they're all fit come September.

Watching Benjamin play makes me angry. What is Robinson trying to prove?
He’s so out of form, batting poorly, keeping worse and yet apparently undroppable.
Likewise! When there's Yates Barnard and Burgess not picked instead its complete incompetence and negligence.

Another poor last over, this time by Foulkes. Got lucky at the end that he was only bowling against a tailender, those last 2 would have gone for miles against anyone else.
I do hope by the QF’s that Davies can keep, because apart from being poor so far with the bat, Benjamin (somehow) is even worse with the gloves.
Burgess surely must be given a chance!
