Place your bets as to which of Hamza Shaikh or Kai Smith plays.

Or Manraj ?! I think all the logic is with him being in, not Smith - we desperately need that bowling alternative (even though he's not 'pulling up many daisies' this season). Of course, logic doesn't seem to come into it, in the current Management thought patterns. Farbrace, Robinson and Rhodes seriously need some proper Psychiatric assessment !

Hopefully Kai plays, and is given opportunity to show what he is capable of doing.
That’s the issue isn’t it. He’s playing but not given an opportunity. He’s playing again today in a 34 over match, unlikely to need a specialist batsman at 8. And when he has batted he’s had a couple of balls or got out quickly.
I’ve said it from the start, it’s nothing against him, and it’s no comment on his ability. But if you’re going to play a young player, actually have them contribute and develop.
All his inclusion does currently is make it harder for the team to win, which then makes it harder to give young players a chance, and also prevents a Johal, Simmons or Shaikh playing and developing.
Great selection with Sibley again. Surely Shaikh has to play next game.
Nice one Kai Smith at the end there! We do have a lot of young talent, especially on the batting side.
Great to see Matt and Kai making a good contribution at the end.
Both showing they deserve more chances.
Yeah them 2 were great at the end, Lamb seems to have his timing back and Kai looked very inventive.
Smith looked good. With then begs the question why is he down at 8, and his first opportunity to perform is after 4 matches?
Think I’d consider dropping Sibley or Brookes for the next match. Brookes hasn’t really fulfilled that all rounder spot, needs to offer more with the ball.
I’d consider moving Smith to 6 or 7 and play another bowler (think Miles is back).
On Lamb, hate to say it but I don’t think anything he does now will matter. I think the clubs made up its mind on him.
Why is Pandya not bowling?
This is absolutely dreadful stuff
When you look at that Notts batting line-up past Slater, it is pretty embarrassing from us but I fear that there is more of this to come this season.
Kept our nerve in the end for an entertaining win but there was absolutely no need for that to get down to the wire again!

Injured himself batting
Hope it’s nothing too serious, we don’t want to lose him.
A good win but it only ever looked like a defeat when Patterson-White was batting. God stuff at the end from OHD and the skipper who had a terrific game.
Brilliant win, we fielded so well in the last 10 overs there.
Good effort at the end of the day, a captains day as well!! Saying that our cricket at the moment needs to come with a severe health warning.
Well done Bears!
Good win and good to see the emerging players play their part as well. Mentioned it before but one of the worst outcomes from this tournament is if our established red ball players are mediocre and we finish, say, 5th. Would rather young guys came in, did some good stuff but had heaps to work on and finished 6th. Today was better than that. My small tweak if Miles is back for Friday, he replaces Ethan and Smith goes up to 7? Maybe a bit harsh as Ethan bowled alright today, but it looks like his batting is coming up short now. Anyone seen him bat? Would also like to see Sheikh come in for Sibley but can't see it happening.
You couldn't quite say that we outbatted or outbowled Notts but we certainly outfielded them and that made all the difference.
